CardCash Chase Ink 5X Dead

The Chase Ink Plus and Chase Ink Cash Cards are popular and lucrative because they have they receive 5X Ultimate Rewards points on purchases from office supply stores and on cell phones, landlines, the internet, and cable TV services. Merchants that you normally wouldn’t expect to code as 5X do. One of these merchants has been a gift card reseller website called CardCash. This meant that you could buy discounted gift cards for a variety of merchants and earn 5X at the same time. This was a sweet deal but is now currently dead.

Final Verdict:

At the beginning of June 15, 2016, CardCash stopped coding 5X with the Chase Ink Cards. Maybe this is just a fluke, but they most likely change the way they are categorized with Visa.
