News just broke that the gift card retailer “CardCash” now sells on eBay! In addition to their own website Cardcash.com and Abcgiftcards.com. Currently, there are tons of available cards. Examples would be an $80 Omaha Steaks for $56, $25 Zappos for $21.25, and around 3% off Starbucks and McDonald’s. Keep in mind that their eBay inventory will chance over time. Cardpool also started to sell gift cards on eBay a few months back under the name Giftcardoutlet. Both Cardcash and GiftCardOutlet are selling only even-denomination cards on eBay, and many of their cards are paper gift cards, not plastic. In both cases, these are pre-owned cards, and they aren’t as safe as buying them from brand new sellers such as PPDG, Giftcardmall, SVM, and Cardency. These cards can be great deals especially when bonus Bucks offers come around, and these can be stacked with portal offerings as well.

At the moment we do not know if buying gift cards from Cardcash on eBay will result in earning 5X rewards with the Chase INK Plus Card. Most likely it will not be earned, just as purchases made directly on Cardcash’s sites do not earn 5X, even when paying with Paypal.

With GiftCardoutlet and CardCash selling on eBay, it’s becoming more and more difficult to discern when the first-hand eBay sellers are running sales. It used to be simple to check the discounted gift card page on eBay, but now the page is full with these Cardpool and Cardcash pre-owned cards, making it harder to tell.
